It seems obvious that women in ancient times were oppressed by the patriarchy, but is the Bible part of the problem or part of the solution? This video is based on the article “Was Ancient Israel a Patriarchal Society?” by Carol L. Meyers, and explores the basic facts about patriarchy in ancient Israel.
